The pre-kindergarten students started class by reading Mr. Seahorse by Eric Carl. It is the story of a seahorse and the other types of fish he meets as he is floating through the ocean waiting for his babies to hatch. To make our own seahorses, each student received a drawing. To fill them in, we used special tissue paper squares that bleed their color when they get wet. We used water and paint brushes to stick the tissue to the seahorses. When they dry, we will peal the tissue off to reveal the colors left behind.
