Pre-Kindergarten Gingerbread People

The pre-k students began class by reading The Gingerbread Man by Eric A. Kimmel.  They each received their own paper outline of a gingerbread person with lots of goodies to decorate with.  We glued on pipe cleaner eyes and mouthes, fuzzy round buttons, rick-rack trim for the arms and legs, and finished them off with bows on the heads to make a gingerbread girl, or at the neck to make a gingerbread boy.
