3rd Grade Abstract Designs

The third grade students have been working on their measuring skills for this project.  They began by creating an abstract design using oil pastels.  Once they finished their design, they flipped their papers over and measured out marks at every half-inch on either side of their paper.  They used these marks to draw straight lines across their paper, then numbered them 1-24.  Once numbered, they cut along these lines, then reassembled them into designs on a separate piece of paper.
