Pre-Kindergarten Counting Snails

This project was designed to help the pre-kindergarten students practice their sorting and counting.  They each received a paper with a big black swirl on it and a container full of small colored paper squares. The sorted the squares into groups by colors from 1-10. Then, they glued them onto the spiral line to make the snail’s shell.  We finished them by coloring the snails with crayon.
