3rd Grade Fall Landscapes

The third grade students began these fall landscapes focusing on the idea of reflections.  We folded their papers in half to create the “shoreline,” imagining the landscapes were on the edge of the Potomac River. In permanent marker, we drew the trees water and sky.  Then, flipped the page around and did our best to draw a reflection of the same scene. After everything was drawn, they filled them in with tempera paint.
