3rd Grade Advent Calanders

The third grade students made these Advent calendars using origami.  They each folded 6 “fortune tellers” from 8x8in. pieces of paper.  Once they completed all 6, they numbered the outsides 1-24. Where the fortune would typically be, they wrote a nice deed that they could do that day during advent.  After all 6 were colored, they were popped up and glued together by their outside edges.  When closed, the calendar makes a colorful star-like ornament shape.  When fully opened, the origami unfolds into a cube.
